What is Beeswax wraps made from?
Beeswax wraps are handcrafted in South Africa, making use of 100% cotton infused in a blend of beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil. The colourful and vibrant option we offer is made from, the internationally recognised Three Cats, original Shweshwe cotton.
What is Beexwax wraps used for?
Sandwiches, lunches, snacks, veggies, fruit, cheese, half of an avocado and even covering bowls and jars. Bees wax wraps are not suitable for raw or cooked meat or fish.
How to use Beeswax wraps?
Place your sandwich/lunch/food in the centre of the wax wrap, fold in the corners, and wrap the attached waxed string around the wooden coconut button.
Simply use the heat of your hands to shape the wrap around your food or bowl. The wrap will stick to itself and create a seal. When cool the beeswax will hold it’s shape.
Can Beeswax wrap be used more than once?
Beeswax wraps are washable and reusable and will last up to 7 months and more if being used on an average of a few times a week. Simply wash in cool water with mild eco-friendly detergent or wipe it with a wet cloth, dry and store until your next use. When you are finished with using your wraps they are biodegradable ensuring they are zero waste and eco-friendly.

Not suitable for microwaves or hot temperatures. Keep it away from the heat as the main ingredient is bees wax. It will melt if it’s near the oven or on top of the microwave.
